Lock Your Doors – The Bears Know How! 🐻 Smoky Mountain black bears are smart, curious, and always on the hunt for food—even in locked cars! If they smell snacks, they’ll try to get in, and yes, some have even figured out how to open doors! To keep both you and the bears safe, always lock your cabin and car doors, roll up windows, and never leave food or trash outside. Never feed bears or any wildlife—it’s dangerous for you and harmful to them. A little caution goes a long way in keeping these wild visitors at a safe distance! 🚗🔒🌲

A community pool and fishing pond is located within minutes from Mamaw & Papaw's Place. Only 5-10 minutes to the main parkway in Pigeon Forge, 15 minutes to Gatlinburg, 5 minutes to Wears Valley, 15 minutes to Dollywood, 15 minutes to Townsend and just minutes from all the attractions Sevier County has to offer. *+/- 25 minutes to Main Entrance of Great Smoky Mountain National Park, 10 minutes from the Western Entrance for the GSMNP, 25 minutes to Cades Cove, 35 minutes to Newfound Gap, 45 minutes to Clingman's Dome, 20 minutes to Tuckaleechee Caverns/Caves, Ziplining, and 30 minutes to White Water Rafting. Within 30 minutes to UT-Knoxville and surrounding areas!

Love the location, beautiful views, minutes away from Foothills Parkway, Wears Valley, GSMNP entrance and Pigeon Forge. Hostess answered all our questions while visiting promptly. The booklet with ideas for sightseeing, dining, etc was much appreciated. Cabin clean and cozy, five of us stayed and had plenty of room. Beds comfortable and kitchen stocked to make own meals. Hot tub was amazing! Nice neighborhood and paved roads. Per host suggestion, we had groceries delivered the night we arrived. Would definitely stay there again!

Incredible cabin with breathtaking views and an amazing host! There’s truly no need to look any further—just book this beauty! The cabin was absolutely perfect for our family. Our preteen kids loved having their own spaces in the basement and upstairs, and we never had to ask for a thing because everything we needed was already there. One of the highlights of our stay was an unforgettable experience right off the deck—four cubs climbing the tree while Mama Bear watched over from below! They played and rested on the branches for over an hour. It was magical. Brittany was such a kind and attentive host, communicating with us throughout our stay and making sure everything was perfect. We also loved referencing Mamaw & Papaw’s homemade book for the host’s local recommendations—Metcalf Bottoms nearby was amazing! We can’t say enough great things about this cabin and host. 10 stars all the way! We can’t wait to come back. Best family vacation ever—thank you, Brittany!

The cabin was perfect and exactly how it was described. We absolutely loved the views as we relaxed on the decks and the colors in the morning sky were beautiful! Brittany was very sweet and very attentive to make sure everything was perfect. We look forward to going back someday and we were sad to go.

Brittany's cabin was exactly what we had hoped it would be. Beautiful views and peaceful! It was conveniently located allowing for a scenic and easy drive (we're 73 and had no problem negotiating the winding roads!) to Wears Valley, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg. Brittany was very friendly and always responded to our questions quickly! We enjoyed our stay!
